Sustainability & Security

STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT

STI Global, Inc remains committed to improving the state of the domestic transportation industry, any way we can. In that effort, we have pledged to work with SmartWay on improving our efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of ourselves and our partners.

Additionally, we have developed security measures that protect against terrorism, fraud, and other illegal activities that pose threats to our company, communities and country. We maintain a multi-layered security program consistent with C-TPAT MSC and ISO 28000 requirements. We share CTPATs goal of building cooperative relationships to strengthen international supply chains and improve United States border security. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requests that businesses ensure the integrity of their security practices and communicate their security guidelines to their business partners within the supply chain and we abide by this recommendation.

As a third-party logistics provider, STI Global, Inc encourages our partners to participate in the C-TPAT & SmartWay programs. Recognizing the importance of these programs, STI Global, Inc, through policy and process:

  • Maintains our SCSP through regular audits and updating

  • Monitors the efficiency of our fuel usage

  • Maintains SOPs to limit emissions and idling times

  • Provides security guidelines and training to all employees, contractors and partners

  • Provides a safe & secure environment for our employees & visitors

  • Identifies emerging vulnerabilities and take action to mitigate risks

  • Maintains a reporting process for all security concerns or breaches

We understand that protecting our environment and securing the integrity of our supply chain takes everyone doing their part. We must all make a concerted effort to lower the environmental impact of our necessary industry. Furthermore, we must make it difficult, if not impossible, for criminals and criminal organizations to operate within our supply chain. Criminal activity is an open door for terrorists to walk right through, so we must do all we can to keep it out. All STI employees, contractors, service providers, vendors, customers, visitors and others are expected to comply with C-TPAT MSC as well as all STI policies.
